Sewing Training Graduation!

Our graduates and the trainers

Ten more men graduated from our Sewing Training this month! Most were unskilled and have struggled to provide for themselves and family. They are so grateful for the chance to be trained and are ready to look for a job!

On the left is a graduate with some of the bags he made to sell to earn money for the needed medical exam and clearance for employment.

A new batch of students, men and women, begins this month. Thanks to all of you who make this possible!

Project Life Subic is getting prepared to open a training center in the local jail next month. We hope to train inmates so that they can have a better chance at getting a job when released from jail. We'll keep you updated on the progress of this project!!

Family Day at Matain

It's hard to believe, but many families here have NO pictures of themselves because they simply can't afford that luxury! So Project Life Subic volunteers designed a "Photo Booth" and invited the local residents to have their pictures taken, then had them printed. Cathy and Cindy will hand them out to the moms and dads and grammas this Thursday!
We were also able to feed 265 people that same day thanks to the generousity of a couple of dear friends. =) The families enjoyed food, worship, and were very entertained when Anthony, Darryl and Cathy performed the "Smile" skit. Pastor Jim was our guest speaker.
here's some pictures of smiling faces at the Family Day:
